Key Findings from CRI Profiles

For the past three years, case studies of Collaborative Regional Initiatives (CRIs) have been prepared for discussion at the annual Civic Entrepreneur Summit, and as a resource document for learning about California’s regions. The CRIs are led by civic entrepreneurs from business, government, education, and the community. They are creating a new type of governance for the 21st century – regional in scope, collaborative in nature, and based on an understanding of the interdependence between the economy, the environment, and the community (social equity) – the three e's of sustainable development.
